Dr. Kiwanuka cautions that you don’t rub, touch, or massage the skin after your BOTOX session, as this can cause the product to migrate to unintended regions of the face. Don’t lie down for the first 4 hours after treatment. While you may be eager to resume your workouts, postponing exercise for the first 24 hours is important. You should also avoid alcohol and exposure to intense heat for 1-2 days.
